IDPP is governed by a 14-member Executive Council supported by three standing functional committees, ensuring policy alignment, academic rigor, and professional integrity across all operations.

General Council

The General Council is the highest governing body responsible for formulating IDPP policy and institutional direction. It consists of registered members, doctoral degree holders, and senior academic representatives.

Each year, delegates and members of the Institute assemble for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to evaluate institutional progress, establish strategic frameworks, and hold the Executive Council accountable to the general membership.

The General Council has the competence to:

• Approve the annual report and institutional performance frameworks.
• Approve annual audited accounts and financial budgets.
• Elect and dismiss members of the Executive Council.
• Ratify admission and elevation of Doctoral Fellows and Emeritus members.
• Consider and approve the annual work programme on advice of the Council.
• Approve membership fee structures and professional levies.
• Amend statutes, guidelines, and constitutional provisions of the Institute.

Executive Council Leadership

The Executive Council manages the overall direction, policy implementation, and day-to-day operations of the Institute. Members serve established terms to drive academic standards and research excellence.
