IDPP membership is open to all persons who have academically earned a Doctorate Degree or hold Professorship status from a recognized university — Zambian or international.
FIDPP
For senior Doctorate holders and Professors who have served for 10 years and above. The highest tier of membership recognising distinguished long-term service.
MIDPP
Open to all holders of earned Doctorate Degrees from recognized universities with below 5 years of qualifying experience. The core membership category of the Institute.
AM-IDPP
Applicable to Master's Degree holders who wish to affiliate with the Institute and benefit from its professional network, resources and knowledge-sharing platforms.
HM-IDPP
Applicable to persons with Honorary Doctorate Degrees awarded by recognized universities. Membership is by invitation through the appropriate committee.
SM-IDPP
For PhD holders and persons invited by Council to join as special members and well-wishers offering financial support to the Institute's operations and programmes.
IM-IDPP
For academic institutions, research bodies and organisations that wish to formally affiliate with IDPP and support the Institute's mission of advancing knowledge and excellence.

Submit an Application
Apply online or in person by completing the IDPP membership application form with your academic credentials and supporting documents.
Scrutiny & Ratification
All applications are scrutinized by the Professional and Membership Committee and ratified by the full Executive Council.
Pay Membership Fees
Members are required to pay subscription fees as determined by Council. Fee structures vary by membership category.
Receive Your Certificate
Approved members are issued a membership certificate valid for two years, subject to renewal upon payment of subscription fees.
